Over the past several months, I've had the pleasure of showing SABBATICAL to festival audiences, friends, and fellow filmmakers. Talking about the film and experiencing it through the eyes and ears of others has left me as proud of it as I could be. However, SABBATICAL's "life" is really just beginning. I'd guess at this point that about 400 people have seen the film. If everything goes well, that number will grow quite a bit relatively soon.
SABBATICAL is now available for rental and download on Vimeo on Demand, the culmination of lots of work from lots of folks. A few have been with the project since its inception about two years ago. Some put in hard work on set or in post-production. Others generously supported our crowdfunding campaign. A few programmed the film or facilitated public screenings. Still more have championed the film through various media outlets, which is indispensable. It's amazing how much (and how many) it takes to get a little film like this out into the world, on its feet.
If you're reading this now, I'm happy you're here. I hope you'll take a look at the film. If you already have, I hope you'll recommend it to a few folks. It would really mean a lot to all of us.
